The English Language Institute invites you to the Fulbright Culture Presentation and Certificate Ceremony on Aug. 5 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. As a final project, the Fulbright grantees prepare posters highlighting their home countries and cultures. The poster walk-throughs will begin at 2:30 p.m. and we will award their program certificates in a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. We are anticipating about 25 countries being represented, so we are looking forward to the diversity.
This pre-academic Fulbright preparation is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE). MSU’s English Language Institute (ELI) is one of only nine universities selected to host this prestigious program. The ELI office provides grantees with critical skills for handling academic and cultural expectations in the United States and highlight Mississippi State University’s global initiatives.
