The International Institute at Mississippi State University invites faculty, staff, and students to attend a global engagement lecture series on Aug. 31 from 2 to 3 p.m. in Bost, North Auditorium. The event is also open to the public. The featured speaker will be the Ambassador of Ukraine, Valeriy Chaly. Ambassador Chaly will discuss Ukraine’s current challenges in international security and how it relates to political and economic instability. Ambassador Chaly assumed his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States in 2015 expanding his diplomatic mission as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Antigua and Barbuda and to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with Residence in the U.S. and Permanent Observer to the Organizations of American States.
