  • 02/28/17- Mississippi Chapter of the Fulbright Association Workshop and Luncheon
    On behalf of Fulbright alumni and friends, we are pleased to announce a statewide kick-off workshop and luncheon in recognition of the formation of the Mississippi (MS) Chapter of the Fulbright Association (FA). All are invited.

    WHEN: Friday, March 31, 2017 Workshop Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM (CDT) Luncheon Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM (CDT) WHERE: The Mill Conference Center, 100 Mercantile Lane, Starkville, MS 39759

    The luncheon keynote speaker will be Dr. Alan Goodman, President of the Institute for International Education. The workshop entitled “Competing for Fulbright Scholar Awards” will be presented by Peter Vanderwater, Director of Outreach, Fulbright Scholar Program, IIE/CIES. This free workshop is designed for faculty who want to expand their research and professional connections through the Fulbright program.

    Dr. Allen E. Goodman, President of the Institute for International Education will be speaking on why Americans don’t have passports and why they need to get them more than ever. All students who are interested in international education across the globe are invited to attend this information session.
