09/08/15- INDO-US Initiative Dr. Todd Mlsna, Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry, Mississippi State University, and Dr. Dinesh Mohan, Professor in the School of Environmental Science, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India were recently awarded one of eight institutional partnership projects through the Indo-U.S. 21st Century Knowledge Initiative (formerly known as the Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative). Dr. Mlsna and Dr. Mohan, an alumnus of MSU, were awarded funding for their project titled “Indo-U.S. Initiatives on Cleaner Air and Water Research. The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and build partnerships between American and Indian institutions of higher education. Each award can be utilized over a three-year period, with the aim of encouraging mutual understanding, educational reform, and economic growth, as well as the development of junior faculty at Indian and American institutions of higher learning.
