  • 11/06/15- International Student Advisory Board Wins First Place in Video Contest
During the spring semester of 2015, the International Institute conducted its first international student video contest. The contest was created as a friendly competition amongst campus international student organizations. The first place $750 cash prize was awarded to the International Student Advisory Board (ISAB), and the second place $500 prize went to the Pakistani Student Association (PSA). A third place $250 award was given to the Association of Chinese Students and Scholars (ACSS).

ISAB plans to use the prize money to finance events and initiatives for the coming school year. The PSA has already used its funding to purchase a tailgating tent so that the organization can gather on game days in Starkville. ACSS used the funds last semester to finance it Chinese New Year’s Celebration. The videos are central to the recruitment efforts of the Office of International Relations.
