  • 03/08/17- International Institute newly designated Passport Acceptance Facility


    MISSISSIPPI STATE, MS — The U.S. Department of State recently opened a new Passport Acceptance Facility at International Institute 116 Allen Hall on Mississippi State University’s campus. The facility will officially begin accepting passport applications on March 15, 2017. The location of the facility is ideal for faculty, staff, and/or students planning international travel who would like to complete their passport applications between class or while on their lunch break.

    The MS State International Institute Passport Acceptance Facility provides one-stop convenience for travelers, with passport photography services and application material availability. It’s open from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., and 2:00-4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

    The MS State International Institute Passport Acceptance Facility is located in the International Institute on Mississippi State University’s campus in Allen Hall, room 116. The physical address of the facility is as follows:

    Customers are encouraged to call 662-325-8929 during the facility’s hours of operation to make passport application appointments. Walk in customers will be served on a space-available basis.

    The Passport Acceptance Facility reminds travelers to submit their passport applications as early as possible, far in advance of planned travel to avoid problems with receiving their passports.
