  • 09/04/17- MSU Signs Sponsored Student Agreement with CONICYT
MSU signed an agreement with the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT), through its International Cooperation Program (PCI), while in Santiago, Chile on September 4, 2017. The objective of the agreement is to foster collaboration with researchers and Chilean students through granting a series of benefits to the fellows who decide to take their postgraduate studies abroad through the partners. Some benefits include: a 30% and 20% reduction in the non-resident portion of tuition costs for up to three years for doctoral programs and two years for masters programs, respectively.

The agreement, signed by CONICYT executive director Christian Nicolai and MSU associate vice president for international programs Dr. Richard Nader, is the first of its kind for MSU. MSU and CONICYT aim to further develop international cooperation between the U.S. and Chile.
