    International Dinner
    The International Institute invites all Mississippi State University (MSU) Study Abroad Alumni and current MSU International Exchange Students to dinner at the Dawg House Grill in downtown Starkville Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. The dinner is an opportunity for students to meet fellow global citizens and share their experiences studying abroad in a foreign country. Students are responsible for the cost of their own meal, but will enjoy meeting others with similar interests to their own during this International Education Week event.     Conversation Connections
    Join the English Language Institute in its weekly conversation group on Nov. 17 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. in the Colvard Student Union, Room 329. Open to all, Conversation Connections is a time for domestic and international students, faculty, and community members to interact on a variety of cultural topics and current events.


    Photo Contest Reception
    Join the Office of Study Abroad for a photo contest reception where you can view study abroad photo submissions and winners from the 2014-15 year on Nov. 18 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Colvard Student Union, Room 330.     Non-Immigrant Visa Holder Workshop
    The International Services Office (ISO) is hosting a workshop for non-immigrant visa holders on Nov. 18 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Hand Lab, Room 1144. This session, “Knowing Your Rights as a Non-Immigrant Visa Holder in the United States” is presented by the ISO in conjunction with a professional immigration attorney, and MSU Police Department.     International Drum Circle
    In honor of International Education Week, the English Language Institute (ELI) is hosting a drum circle with Dr. Robert Damm of the MSU Department of Music. Join ELI students as they participate in the event focusing on diversity on Nov. 19 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Griffis Hall, fourth floor.

    Global Engagement Forum: Interactive Cultural Simulation
    The International Institute at MSU will host an interactive cultural simulation as part of this year’s International Education Week. This event, part of the Global Engagement Forum series, will be held on Nov. 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Colvard Student Union, Room 328. This unique cultural simulation will allow MSU faculty and staff to gain first-hand experience with the adaptability required to be successful in another country and the frustrations felt by international students.
